MPC has an opportunity for a Superintendent to join our team of construction professionals in Denver, CO. This position runs the day-to-day operations on the construction site and control the short-term schedule. The role of the superintendent also includes important quality control and subcontractor coordination responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8+ years with multiple multi-family / apartment project experience (REQUIRED)
Mid to high rise expeirence (REQUIRED)
Exemplary leader qualities and managerial skills
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Permitting – Assist with job site permits, street closures and right of way
Provides direction to Assistant Superintendent
Delegate responsibilities to Assist Superintendent
Oversee and maintain project schedule
Manage weekly subcontractor meetings
Coordination of entire jobsite, trades, start dates, and sequencing scope
Maintain jobsite delivery schedule
Mediator between subcontractors
Liaison for OSHA and city personnel
Coordinates jobsite walks with city and state inspectors
Procurement log
Preconstruction meetings with subcontractors
Oversee punch list completion

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
